Also, its been proven that dogs have evolved with people. That holding a puppy produces the same chemical reaction in the brain as holding a child, albeit in far less intensity. And that dogs can read emotions off your face, not only your tone, but your facial expression. Add in that because they evolved with us over the past few XXX thousands of years, people that dont like dogs are simply the genetic backwash of the world.

But the cat pictures are funny as hell.

Actually evolution is still a theory, it may be accepted but it is not a proven law. Micro-evolution (mutation within a species) has been proven, macro-evolution (mutation into a new species) has not, yet. Thus your statement that 'it's been proven' does not even jive with the scientifically educated proponents of evolution itself. In biology we already have the law of biogenesis (not linking any religious/creationism junk) which still hasn't been disproven using scientific method. I realize we get around this by the theory of Panspermia, but we cannot use 1 theory to validate another theory into law.

Much like the theory of intelligent design or creationism, in both science and religion. Both are accepted on faith, with proof and disproofs for both from leading scientists on each side.

Please educate yourself on the difference between scientific theory and the broader sense of the word theory.

"A scientific theory comprises a collection of concepts, including abstractions of observable phenomena expressed as quantifiable properties, together with rules (called scientific laws) that express relationships between observations of such concepts. A scientific theory is constructed to conform to available empirical data about such observations, and is put forth as a principle or body of principles for explaining a class of phenomena."

TL;DR, the term 'theory of evolution' is not meant to imply there is doubt about its validity.

Also sidenote, there is a huge difference between a scientific law and a scientific theory. It's not like a theory graduates and becomes a law.

Scientific Law - A scientific law is a description of an observed phenomenon..

Scientific Theory - A theory is a scientific explanation of an observed phenomenon.
