Alright I guess the answer is that we disagree on what is the defining issue of both candidates.
I care very much about economics, but their economic policies are not why I liked the each of them. It is the job of the executive branch to ENFORCE policy created by the legislative branch and protect its citizens from outside threats, not run the economy (government 101). I think I made it clear why I supported each person see above posts. But to further clarify, the thing they both had in common that I liked was that they both wanted to reign is the ridiculous amount of government waste and spending that goes into "defense" and the military industrial complex and put it to better use like the infrastructure and education and not trying to be the "world police" which just ends up damaging our ability to protect ourselves since we get caught meddling in everything and have constant backlash, something both Ron Paul and Sanders seemed to agree on at least from my perspective. | ||
