Yar, bit of a thread necro, but even the best roots hit a 98% resist rate at 125 mr.

Which is achievable using 70 (Group Resist Magic), 85 (Resist Magic), 101 (Shield of Magi), or 125mr from gear.

Or using 224mr from gear if you are buffless and debuffed with malosini and tashanian.

GRM is giving more mr than a single cast MR, not sure if thats what you meant but i might be reading this wrong.

Just reminding people about the impact of buffs / debuffs when it comes to hitting the 98% resist rate.

70mr from gear + gmr
85mr from gear + resist magic
101mr from gear + shield of magi
225mr from gear + no buffs + malosi + tashanian

So simplyfied, if you have 125mr you get 98% resist vs root, period
