It sucks in a lot of ways but that's what makes it good. If it didn't suck it would be too easy like WoW etc

xp loss when you die : sucks
get griefed : sucks
trains choo chooooo : sucks
Fail trade skill combines: sucks
hard to get around : sucks
not balanced : sucks
really rare drops : sucks


those and a few other things add up to make it the only game I want to play.

A big problem I have with modern games is how similar they all feel. Almost every single mmo I have played in the past 8 years feels like they use the same engine and mechanics. EQ uses a really unique camp system with no instances which I feel like promotes world pvp. No mmo in recent history has gotten mmo pvp right. Which is why I am excited to play classic EQ pvp which Sony also destroyed.

Not to mention I am sooooo sick of First Person Shooters.
Elder Scrolls is the first game in a while I am psyched to play.
Diablo 3 as well.
Unfortunately both of these games will lack good pvp.
