I use a VPN unless I'm playing a game so I haven't noticed much difference but apparently if you watch a pokemon/etc video on youtube then decide to go and watch something an adult would straight after like a video on Israel/Palestine/Ukraine it can trigger for ID etc. There's so many eyebrow raising stories.
There's been a petition for a general election with over 100k signatures (not many petitions get past 10k so its definitely causing a stir).
People just want to be left alone but the government can't stop encroaching on people's lives. Keir Starmer is arguably the weakest PM (thats been elected from a general election) since Neville Chamberlain (the guy who didn't want to go to war with Hitler in 1939).
He hasn't stopped the migrant boats (we have a military that's getting paid, it could process/assess offshore), he took the winter fuel allowance away from the elderly who can't afford to heat their homes when it gets to freezing temperatures, and now this rushed Online Safety Act just makes him look even more out of touch with voters. As always the alternatives to him wouldn't be much better
