I'll try this when I'm not shooting it because I love the burn and the aftertaste it leaves in large quantities. I kid, I'd never shoot anything above generic Jameson. At the same time I'd never sip it that damn slowly either. A thin liquid layer that lightly coats the back of the throat if you swallow...then a deep breath, maybe with smoke in it.

Also, Jameson is Irish. Single malt scotch and irish whiskey are two completely different things. Shooting Jameson, or any irish whiskey, is fine.

Whatever, for me, alcohol can be delicious(good craft beer), and I don't have to fucking sip at it like hot tea, I can drink it at a moderate pace, enjoy the flavor before, during, and after the beer, and get drunk afterwards. Maybe you are right and that is just a heavenly experience, but even if it tastes like melted chocolate and peanut butter on vanilla ice cream, sipping anything in that manner doesn't sound like a 'good time' to me.

Hendricks Gin was a pleasant experience, and I was able to at least sip it without waiting for the liquor to vaporize and/or otherwise taste like shit.
