“Police in April 2019 responded to a reported suicide attempt by the Robert E. Crimo III

In September of 2019, Police went to the home following a call from a family member who said Robert E. Crimo III was threatening “to kill everyone” there.”

Crimo applied for a license in December 2019.

At the time “there was insufficient basis to establish a clear and present danger” and deny the application, state police said in a statement.

Crimo legally purchased the rifle used in the attack in Illinois 2020 & 2021. In all, police said, he purchased five firearms.”

You can complain about illegal guns as a problem all you want but the process to purchase legal guns is a joke.

83 spent shells were found on the roof Robert E. Crimo III was shooting from.”

Still Republicans say Robert E. Crimo III is only the problem right not the ease to get a high powered weapon.

it is hard to involuntarily commit people for insanity these days to prevent harm to the public, but some people want to use the same parameters to be able to buy a firearm.

9/10.

Would have been a 10 if one guy was wielding a rolling pin.

83 spent shells
37 hits
1.02% kill ratio

maybe banning that particular gun is a bad idea.

That is the guy that shot up the public recently? he is unhinged and anything else is just window dressing. Just like that guy who ran over people at the parade with a vehicle.

How a party is attached to any of that is a mystery beyond me. Remember you have a whole generation of young adults all coming of age who were raised on Pokemon and social media from youth. Rainbow hair and hiding behind parties to justify killing people is happening right now.

A party is not attached to it. To any of it. That's just trying to take advantage of the situation politically.

And yes I weep for the future. My generation (gen x) and the boomers raised a generation of fuck-ups. If you had rainbow hair when I was in high school you'd either get the crap beaten out of you or shunned.
