Seems like OP is definitely correct and right here and RnF is simply behind the ball on this one. He is innocent and it's def conclusive that his story pans out. It's fine that the vast majority of folks are clearly wrong in their suppositions but it's okay because we're all fallible. I'm typing this on my debian laptop which I just did a fresh install of eq for funsies from a hotel and I can also confirm that my strafe key setup prevents me from even typing the character '8' let alone making an elf run in the topology of the new Meta logo. I hope this helps for everyone.

This is completely unfair! The boxing test also false flagged my autistic daughter who finds it comforting to cast complete heal on me, her unemployed diabetic father, every 10 seconds and then sit. It's the only thing that calls her anxiety. And I have given her strict instructions not to talk to strangers on the internet so that's why she wouldn't reply to the GM. Those crooks took away her only hobby!!!

The GM's caught me for boxing but I totally wasn't but when they had me do the figure 8 test smoke started coming out of my computer and then *I*burst into flame and couldn't complete the test it was weird but this test is flawed and ripe for false positives like mine.

In an effort to promote diversity, inclusiveness, and disincline inherent advantage/privilege to ambidextrous folks, this test should be rebranded to be figure 1's.

It's always odd that these people who are "not boxing" never just offer to jump into Discord with the GM at the time. Like if a GM accuses you of boxing why don't you be like "sure we can do the test, cool if the three of us jump into Discord right now so you can more easily walk us through it?"

Can any GM feedback and approve if discord group chat (or video chat) can serve as proof?

Cuz I'd love to get my gf to PL me by clicking a button every few minutes, but I ain't risking it cuz i dont know if she can pass the figure 8 test, then there will be all these crazy folks saying to stop lying you are boxing you don't have gf gtfo etc.

When I asked a similar question about a then- 6-year-old, they emphatically said no, knowing there are physical people is not enough, the people in question must be active in-game and able to perform the needed functions on demand. As such I didn't let the daughter play P99 until she was a couple years older and I was more confident she could read and follow such instructions if necessary.
