Yeah that's true. I just have a different attitude toward the game I guess, not that there's a right or wrong way to play. I have a well established epic 60 shaman on blue that I rolled almost on day 1 in 2009, when we had global /ooc cause the pop was so low then, so I definitely can understand being invested in your character. But for me personally, as soon as green launched I couldn't wait to do it again and I never touch my blue sham anymore.

Oh yeah, and there is nothing wrong with that. It is great you find that fun!

If Green had launched a few years earlier I would have switched over too, no question. But I just don't have the time anymore to start over from scratch, and I don't really have any legacy loot I want, as all the good stuff is best served on classes I don't generally play. There are certainly players on Green now who feel the same way, especially players who have their first well geared toon ever there.

Maybe next server if I have more time I'll try it. I have a small itch to roll a wizard, and Manastone pairs well.

I don't raid, I just like everyone not twinked and in same boat on a fresh server. Plus classic zones are best for me. Kunark and Velious fixed some things with melee equipment however.

A fresh server that started in Velious would be the best - permanent legacy item drops - no CSR for PNP

I thought we would have seasonal 'fresh' servers like was discussed when Green was created. I'd imagine there are some large technical implications to re-releasing a brand new server and merging the outgoing characters to Blue. I know my character list there is full with duplicate names because I am not very creative. I'm also imagining this has been posted a few times before as I haven't read all seventeen pages. Sorry if I'm just repeating stuff!

I'd love to start a fresh server with a plan next go-around. I missed out twice!

I know everyone has their own personal pet wishes about what a new green would consist of, but I really wish they'd make kunark last longer. Obv on blue originally kunark was way too long, and so was vanilla for that matter, but this time on green 7 months for the entirety of the kunark expansion felt really quick.

Next server should be a nice simple 1 year per expansion (and vanilla). And also Velious should be released during the actual winter in the northern hemisphere, like it was originally, for maximum immersion

I think blue should stay definitely. People need security that their characters should stay around forever. A back up server for them to roll back to would be exactly what they need. Also, my inner punk rock would want to rebel against the system sometimes, and play an old server instead of a new one.

I like soloing, an explosive server population might be a bad thing.

I came in nearly at Velious launch (on green, same as blue really lol). Did they not keep similar timelines to classic expansion launches? I thought that was also kind of the point.
