I just want red2.0 that won't wipe with real classic working quests and a kunark cap and item loot. But I am definitely not willing to edit databases for years on end to achieve it. I think that would be the OG server that outlives wow and all the other emus.

Going to be funny when the GMs ban your mule accounts or ninja nerf scroll XP to spite you

You should add in the time it took you to farm the scrolls

But if I get them outlawed, I guess I have to update my signature. Scrolls being nerfed will be easy to pick up on. The wiki has some great documentation on how much exp they give at which level. I highly doubt they will be double nerfed. If you haven't visited SK, you'll notice they were already nerfed: drop rate is worse. The impact of a level 60 on release day with vanilla gear and no dropped spells would be almost nothing. It's a 50 caster with a 60 caster's mana pool. The impact of a level 60 in 1 month will be about the same: almost nothing. But if I get scroll exp nerfed, I guess have to update my signature. Looks like I'll be padding my elf resume whatever happens [You must be logged in to view images. Keep it up, it's working, and I really do care what you think. WTS Manastone 300k

Not sure what a turn in of 4 scrolls will do on green at 54, but I did one turn in on my 54 Wizard on blue a few years ago, only got something like 1% (probably a little less) and decided quadding was much faster, granted, I wasn't buying scrolls. Assuming he starts at level 51, since he's 1 kill away from a ding at Kunark drop, and each turn in is roughly 1%, maybe more for some levels, but certainly less for higher levels, he'll need 100 turn-ins each level for 9 levels. At 400 scrolls per level that comes to 3600 scrolls. Now the GM said something like 50 accounts were used. 3600/50=72 scrolls each account. Each character could only hold 4 scrolls. There are only 8 character slots, 72/8 averages 9 scrolls per character. Obviously, it's preferable to keep sets of 4 together just for ease of tracking and using, so there's definitely some corpsing going on. Now I definitely could be wrong, I'm not sure what the turn-in exp rate on Green is for 51+ scrolls. But they don't know what it is either, so this is the math you have to assume... Now that our rough estimate is figured, let's imagine the tremendous undertaking all of this would entail and then feel extreme pity... If he's farming the scrolls himself, I would guess half hour to collect a set if you're in Paw as reasonable. Sometimes it'll go faster, sometimes slower, but this feels about right to me. He's not doing this. He's rich, he's buying his scrolls and also conscripting others to buy his scrolls. Even still, not all scrolls are for sale, and it takes time to /auction scrolls all day. So there's probably a combination of farming and buying. I didn't time the run, but I feel like it's safe to say it takes 10 minutes to get from Qeynos to South Karana with SoW. He's probably bound at the Quest Mob, so it's just a gate back, but 10 minutes to get back is kind of a lot of time considering how many scrolls it's gonna take, even if my estimates are wayyyyy over what it'd actually take. He can only carry 4 scrolls at a time. So, this numbnuts spent the last 6 months running to SK, farming or buying 4 scrolls at a time (maybe for 5 minutes or an hour depending on how things are dropping and who's selling), gating back. Dropping the scrolls on the ground. Picking them up with a toon on another account. Either logging out or corpsing that toon. Running back to SK to do it again. And doing that on 50 accounts. Then, the plan was to log on day 1 Kunark, hand in the 4 scrolls he has on hand. Log out to another toon. Drop the scrolls on the ground. Log back on. Pick them up. Turn them in. Log back out. Log back in. Loot a corpse. Drop the scrolls on the ground. Log out. Log in. Pick them up. Turn them in and repeat 900 times to possibly get to level 60. This assumes he does it all legit without boxing and on his own. Maybe he has some demented minions to help him out and they're the suckers doing all the logging out and logging in. But that makes it even more ridiculous, because that means he's got a spreadsheet for all the toons with their login info and their inventories to give to other people to do all this for him. Unless I'm missing something or my math is wrong, which both could be true, it seems really pathetic.

But yeah, not my ideal experience. Cool experiment though and I'll watch the video. Kinda fall in between the 'this is classic' group and 'what the fuck are you thinking?' group myself.
