Dragons were rooted, what, 2-3 months ago? I would be curious to see what the stats look like before dragons were rooted and post dragons being rooted. I never said rooted dragons would solve everything, but I would be willing to bet a larger portion of targets (not just NToV mobs) go to other guilds post-root than did pre-root. The time a guild is spending on one target is time they can't be spending on another target. It takes more time and effort to clear to and kill a rooted dragon than it does to pull to zone. It probably doesn't make much of a difference when the pops are very spread out but when pops are bunched up (and especially on quakes), while AM is clearing through trash in ToV is time where other guilds are able to get bosses they couldn't get if AM wasn't otherwise occupied. Obviously there are multiple factors at play - for example I would expect AM got fewer mobs when Awakened was still around giving them direct competition, and I would expect that similarly their portion of the pie will suffer now that Riot is going strong, but just off the top of my head I don't remember Kittens and Blood Guard getting the targets they've been getting recently back before the root patch hit. You may now return to calling eachother losers over your elf sim.

Detoxx and Co. are correct that if you are strictly approaching this game from a min/max perspective to acquire the best pixels in the shortest period of time AM would probably be a better fit for you. I personally am turned off by the elitist mentality and some of the childish antics some of their members have displayed. I have always been proud to call myself an Azure Guardian and I don't think I could say the same if I was in AM. Everyone is different, they will join which guild they think fits them. AG caters to more playstyles than just the hardcore raiders. If you are interested in hanging out and raiding with a high quality bunch of people that raid all content from old world (The Hole, Fear, Plane of Sky etc to Velious content but don't get BiS loot as often as AM (besides primals) consider putting in your application today. https://azureguard.guildlaunch.com.
