Not really. I had a really horrible time getting to level 60 on my bard Gidro. Nobody helped me, in fact people would send me tells saying they would help me then they would log on their in range twinked chars and just kill me. Besides that, there is no one ever to group with so unless you are coming over with a boat load of plat to solo with forget it. Needless to say I toughed it out and finally MADE IT to 60.

I was psyched to raid with <Apex> and finally get some sweet pixels. When I get there it would just be continual wipes to Vyemm/Vulak which would result in 5 to 6 hour raid nights to get loot for the top 3 or 4 highest DKP members who had already been farming DKP for the past 8 months. It got to be pretty absurd, it was also just getting worse. Tune started to really go all out on this "spy quest" and I even started to be accused of spying. I had been in the guild for 2 months at this point. After days of Tune continuously pulling me into my own TS channel, muting/deafening me, insulting me, questioning me, I said enough was enough.

I quit <Apex> and posted about it on the forums here http://www.project1999.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=261772. You can see how my own guildmates treated me...very disgusting behavior

this gidro guy... never heard a word from him in TS, never contributed in any meaningful way and mysteriously disappeared whenever it mattered. you did pump mana really well in sol b one night, ill never forget that night <3 but either way you were useless, cant wait to see you on the other side.

I joined maybe 3 years ago, it took me a while to find my way during my first pvp experience, but I was fortunately enough to join Hokuten.

These guys were the resistance, they weren't about pixels as much as about disrupting the evil guild that ruled the server. Whoever that was, I wasn't bothered, but as a motivation it still worked.

A great deal of raids and nearly as many "guild banked items" later, the guild disbanded, its core members leaving for Azrael, and that was it.

The people I had formed somewhat of a bond with were suddenly harder to reach, and most of them flat out quit.

The best time / reward spent I had during raids on r99 was during empire. I actually felt I got awarded well for my time.

Problem most guilds have is they are ruled by cliques, hogging the best and as most of the loot as possible, and these people wonder why new members don't remain active.

It doesn't matter if you have 12.000.000³ DKP, if you gained it at the cost of being able to kill Vulak / AoW, your gear will remain sub-optimal. People also don't want to join your guild while making 23 dkp / hour while you are competing.

In short, fuck you (fraudulent) elitists. I know your position perfectly well, Tune and co, because I was an elitist on live for years.

In the end you've been anti-social in a small community, and now you regret your shitty behavior, but only because it prevents you from getting pixels.

I can 100% guarantee you that if you start on red and join Thunderdome, you will have an enjoyable experience.

You won't have a fungi, but you'll have some stuff that helps you get started and the world is yours to take.

Also if you neckbeard it in a week or two you can camp a fungi, but thats a different story.

I quit playing and I'm assuming when you said "cant wait to see you on the other side" you meant real life. Really hope Sirken takes action on this one because im legitimately scared of what a weirdo like you might do

Sorry. friend. I have lots of work to do in the real world. There'll be no sockcrapping for me since my limited free time is not going to be staring at a wall on Blue or getting ganked by deleveled BiS on Red. On the rare spawn of myself in game & when I do finally log in to play some EQ; it's usually helping others out or just doing goofy things since I have a lot of responsibilities to take care of and pixel quest isn't on my top 100 of what I GAF about.
