I find it hilarious how ignorant the response has been to Trumps second amendment remark.

Even if he was suggesting violent revolution, the context was a possible future president and Supreme court justices taking away firearms. The stated purpose of the second amendment is to bear arms to overthrow a tyrannical government attempting to take away that right.

I personally think he should have doubled down when they called him.

Accurate and good post. I imagine Nihilist himself may have replied to this post. (RIP) The intent was an armed constituency to stave off tyranny.

Arguing otherwise is really really bizarre. Its like, do you know anything about Independence Day? Or the history of the US?
