I think this is exactly what the GM thought that perma banned me. He saw I was asking for another exemption and then thought I was caught boxing again. Which did not happen. Why I mentioned earlier itt that GMs should do a little recon before throwing out permanent bans!

If you box, you will be banned. It's not even supposed to be a suspension. The first warning is supposed to be permanent account bans for all accounts involved.

You were given a second chance when you should not have been.

Then you boxed again and got banned for real.

Hard to be on your side.

I'm posting 4 times in a row in this thread, because that's what Haliyen would do.

Trollhide, what if the GF who did nothing wrong asks for an ip exemption so she can play?

There is no reason that she cannot make a new account and apply for a new IP exemption. However, she cannot play the old accounts. Those old accounts were permanently banned, as per the rules, for multi-boxing.

well yes i agree her former account(s) involved in transferring would be banned. she DID give her account details to someone else and anything done with that account is liable under her authorization.

but are you really sure she could ask for an ip exemption? the fact it'll be on the same general ip numbers, and same names of people involved. the admins wouldn't take issue with the previous ip exemption and failure to adhere to the rules? and does the actions of her boyfriend on her account effect her allowance for an ip exemption?

The rule that was broken:
Code:
4. You may not have more than one client running per real life person playing on Project 1999 (Boxing).

There is no 'boxing' on Project 1999 servers. Boxing is defined as having more than one client running from a single computer, or having more than one client running per person in the same household on different computers. Project 1999 has an IP block on its servers to prevent players from boxing. You may apply for an IP exemption if you have more than one person in your household wanting to play by following the instructions on this forum:

http://www.project1999.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=25

Violation of this rule will result in disciplinary action, and you may lose the account(s) involved.

The exception to this rule is having one client running for Project 1999 Red PvP as well as one for Project 1999 Blue. This is allowed.
Account sharing liability:
Code:
YOU are responsible for the actions of anyone on your account. This includes the loss of any virtual property as well as an disciplinary received for their actions while on your account. In general, do not share your login information.
