In order to prevent the group from heading into Times Square this year, police set up checkpoints throughout the city. Kelly said during that effort, 15 arrests were made, 68 summonses were issued and 55 motorcycles were confiscated.

The NYPD released a photo Tuesday of two bikers who investigators said were part of the melee. One driver has a Guyana flag on the tail end of his bike and the other has a black and white design, police said. Police said they were wanted for assault.

I wonder if at any point vehicles surrounding you and forcing you to stop is considered an aggressive act that warrants defensive measures being taken, and if said defense could hold up in court.

I'm absolutely sure that "temporary insanity" brought on by fearing for the life of your child would hold up in a jury of average Americans should, say, murder charges not be dismissed.

but the fact is that the dude called the cops on some dudes trying to have fun, which is a violent action, and warrants having your ass beat, so the dude was in the wrong regardless, because he should have seen that and just taken the ass whooping.
