Depends man. I’ve always had Australian shepherds. When I was 30 ish mine ate something and went quick. Vet wanted $10k back in around 1995. I delayed like an hour or two and it was too late. I had 3 kids and a wife and a mortgage and I didn’t know if it made sense. It haunts me to this dead. When I meet God, I will be on my knees sobbing for that. It’s the only failure I will regret for all of my days (I hope)

my sister has an 8 month old puppy that jumped off of a chair and broke its leg a few months ago.

initial surgery costs were about 6500, anti-biotics and pain meds are about 250 a month, follow up visits have been 2-300, several hundred more when they do x-rays

I'm the kinda person who's first thought is, oh well guess we outta take her out and shoot her

but then the little furball endears itself to you in such a way that you find yourself thinking, "I'll cover it, if my sister runs out of money to care for the dog"

life is weird man

Powerful middle class "values" emanate from this post

And this one

These are two of the forums users that are quick to advise the poor on how capitalism is great and the poors just aren't working hard enough at their three jobs

Have fun at the brunch, fellas, you have more in common with the liberals you despise than any poor person

Lol, Bloomberg on how to deal with inflation:

“If you’re one of the many Americans who became a new pet owner during the pandemic, you might want to rethink those costly pet medical needs.”

Time to start buckling down, America. As an upside, you can always eat it after, which will save you lots on increasingly expensive meat costs

Lol.

The generation raised in the 60s and 70s tho... those Karens won't be able to do what they need.

If a generation rises it's going to be after genZ. Genz is still transitory even tho they where raised with the writing up on the wall. "They will still grow up vote and fix it"...

They don't have the ethics to serve the greater good yet. Nor the conditioning to really kill. A few more will
..and give the government more reasons to be even dumber to protect the elites and midfle. The middle hasn't slid into poverty totally yet tho.

Apparently a decent amount of the protestors were pretty fat, based on the vid I saw. The way to have a free speech event is to make it mobile, walking back and forth quickly across the campus while speaking. Those fat entitled fucks wouldn’t be able to keep up to throw their adult temper tantrums in public

Hey I saw that on evil smart guy twitter. Something like a senior federal judge is advising his colleagues to deny clerkships to overly aggressive student protestors.

Sure, they may have been using their free speech right in doing so but we all know free speech doesn't mean freedom from consequences! [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

It does in the modern age when only police and military are legally permitted to meet out consequences.
