Now back to the sub-topic at hand: Senator Queries President on Iran Payments Iran Nuclear Deal John Kerry: ‘Some’ Iran Deal Money Will End Up In the Hands of Terrorists There are the culprits, and both should be locked up ... just like Ma0. You are all bitching on how Trump is going to deal with the Demoncrats engineered mess :/ $$$$$BILLIONS$$$$$$$$ Your Demoncrat (and RINO's) globalist masters built the modern Iran nuclear program. They have nukes and they are having more thanks to 0bama. What's the saying? Stick your head between your legs and kiss your ass goodbye. So maybe time best to step aside and let the big boys deal with it.

That doesn't mean anything. Iran simply means "land of the Aryans," which is what they called their country. I say they, because Iran has been invaded by Arabs, Turks, and mongols since then. Who knows if those people were genetically similar or dissimilar to me. I don't really know and I don't care. Regardless, the culture was passed down, the name Iran is ancient, hitler had nothing to do with it The first modern Shah did look west, but to Ataturk rather than to Hitler. He took headscarves off of women, tried to modernize roads, etc He formally changed the international name to Iran because, as I said, PERSIA is a Greek word and no one has ever called Iran that from within the country. I have no idea what they called it prior to the Sassanian period, probably Iranistan, Eranistan, Iranshahr, Aryana, I have no clue. That said, the name "Iran" is roughly 1800 years old and is attested in some of the earliest written Sassanian sources Here's the thing: the Medes and Persians had ancestors who were horseman and who preferred oral traditions to writing. The Persians never tried to replace either Greek or Aramaic as lingua francas or writing systems because they didn't give a fuck and thought that those things were feminine. The Sassanians wanted to modernize AND, probably more importantly, they wanted to codify Zoroastrian liturgy since they were way more authoritarian and centralized than the Parthian Arsacid dynasty that preceded them (and continued to rule Armenia). NEWAYZ, my point is, as soon as there was a Persian form of writing you start seeing "Iran" pop up contemporaneously with Greek sources referring to it as "Persia". It's possible that the name Iran precedes the name Persia but wasn't written down Regardless, you're not correct on this topic

LoL@Ryancare tanking. This guy (Ryan) is so full of himself it makes me sick. He actually believes that most Americans value tax cuts for the rich -- or at least does a very good job pretending he thinks Americans want that above anything else.
Ryan apparently lives on an alternate planet where everyone makes 250k a year and wants a tax cut by getting the government out of healthcare. Or maybe he thinks that's the only kind of person that takes notice of what he does. Here's who puts Paul Ryan in Power BTW: https://www.opensecrets.org/politici...?cid=N00004357 | ||

Most of this stuff from the middle-east you gotta dig up, then guess at. Strong oral tradition, yes. Just like that islam stuff, they played the telephone game with it for 250 years before anyone bothered writing it down somewhere [You must be logged in to view images. Patriam has you game, set, and match in the Iran name. It's okay to be wrong because it doesn't protect you from demons to be right. Neither does sage for that matter. What got you onto that thinking pattern?
