The Republicans got the votes. It came to be 11 to 10.

However, they're going to let the FBI investigate for a week.

So you don't deny that your brain has been weakend by drugs. It's understandable. So if the FBI investigation concludes that Ford's testimony has merit, would Kavanaugh be approved anyway? November is right around the corner, and it wouldn't look to well for the GOP to have admitted a supposed sexual assaulter onto the SCOTUS. Now, what conclusions could be made?

If the FBI finds evidence that Kavanaugh attacked Ford, he won't be confirmed.

They'll determine that by next week.

If they can't find anything, he'll be confirmed by the Senate.

The Republicans have backup picks they can choose before November.

Also, Ginsburg will probably die of old age while Trump is in office. That will be 3 justices.

The country will erupt in chaos.

Gonna love it.
