I think it pretty sad they feel the need to cheat, I suppose they weren't people around in the glory days of EQ.

At least half of what I find enjoyable with p99 is the fact I'm having to work my ass off and I'm catching myself feeling how I did when I first entered Everquest.

To the cheats: If you want easy mode, I really don't know why you bothered at all, You're ruining the experience for other honest players who enjoy a challenge. You're the same people who whine in real life and have no patience or appreciation for dedication and hard graft. Enjoy your just desserts, however I do feel the punishment on you should've been harder.

To the noncheats: See you in game, keep up the good work.

I am pretty satisfied with the punishment handed out. I like how it punishes both lvl 60 high end raiders and people who may be hoarding large amounts of plat through scams.

I would be pretty discouraged if I had to level from 54 - 60 again.

What he posted is correct. If your sole source of information about how the program works is what one person posted, the first person to tell you or the story that you favor most doesn't make it the most correct. MQ2 is a comprehensive program with a lot of plugins to do just about anything, including using it as a 2boxing aide. Most people who play on a server with bots depend on that functionality.

We can see what was used and what wasn't.

At first glance that seems to be a huge amount of plat. But dividing the sum by the 365 accounts will give an average of roughly 8,000 plat per banned account - a negligible amount when compared to the items those cheaters might have hoarded on their characters.

That's interesting. How closely does that match the overall server numbers? Bards look a bit high, but other than that it's pretty much the distribution that I would expect (at the higher levels anyway).
