it's not stupid, it's perfectly apt that's my point, like a billion+ more people care about footy ball than wnba or nba for that matter

aint no wnba hooligans stabbin eachother, i haven't watched a single game but it feels artificial to me.

like they found two great players to have a rivalry + some people who understood viral/social marketing and made it a thing, just like radio used to make or break a band, they play what they want you to hear

i got no beef with the athletes or the game but 10,000% growth overnight is what irks me, someone decided we're gonna make this popular and it worked.
