I'd be all for starting fresh on a highly populated server. While the grind can be old, nothing beats classic leveling and actually using the quests/items of classic while leveling, instead of the twink/rat race we have today.

No the server is just too old. 'Oh but ALS do it I phenyo' I hear you cry.

While als do try to keep their gameplay experience as gulag-esque as possible via the guild charter you will routinely find their members leveling with hyper twinks that the server is flooded with due to its age. Not only is grouping with your standard p99 player an issue but grouping against people with velious sock tier gear proves for an unclassic experience.

Many people (myself included) are looking forward to green because then everyone you encounter will be wearing garbage just like ALS. The whole point is that it feels FRESH. Not just you but the server and everything around you. It will be even more immersive to see outsiders on the same level. People will actually be able to use the economy IN ERA instead of being banned from it. Raid forces will be on par with each other gear wise.

Patiently waiting for green.

I really enjoy raiding and that's my main motivator for playing these days
