I just feel if you want to argue a point.. you aught to stick to that point or admit that you weren't as sure about what you stated in the first place.
Double posting. lel

I'm sorry you guys are unfamiliar with the common usage of

"100 times out of 100" or "10 times out of 10"

Even if I did say "100% of the time" in a RNF forum post, I think "pedantry" would be a good word for latching on to that.

Little bit different when it comes to official guild statements/rules

JD I think it's ok to concede this point. You'll still be mostly right and he'll still be 100% wrong. That's a win in my book.

I'm sorry you don't think 10 times out of 10 is 100%. It's not your fault. It's the public school system's.

I won't use the term here anymore. But you guys should be aware that not everyone means 100% or they would just say "always," "100%", "every time" etc.

I liked the expression when I heard it. But now you guys have ruined it for me. I hope you're all proud yourselves.

I'm 100% correct. I can say this safely because when I came up my point it was only to show that your argument wasn't correct. Which was just easy to prove. Truth is there are a variety of reasons people join raid guilds... saying they all join just for loot is asinine and idiotic.

The substantive disagreement here is:

Argument 1) In almost all cases, people initially join raid guilds for loot.

vs

Argument 2) People initially join for all kinds of reasons. And saying people join initially for loot (vast majority of the time) is absolutely wrong.

But yea -- you did a good job with a narrow derailing semantic argument.

I cannot recall ever before agreeing 100% with an Alarti post (it is possible that it happened and I've suppressed the memory out of shame.)

Hey, Kaev. We should hang out again. I work over by the Republic now.
