But like those 3 guilds said back then, it wouldn't have mattered anyways since the Class system (and rotation) was going away in Velious (which it did). Things would be exactly the same now as they would have been had the rotation existed for the few months leading up to Velious. Time to leave the past in the past, and admit that those 3 guilds were right in trying to reform the rotation to better prepare for Velious. If the rotation stood, Asgard might be 4-5 months behind in being ready to compete with other guilds in Velious.

In response to the "screwed the rotation" bit - I offer that I've had several people from several guilds that got "screwed" that have reached out and acknowledged that while the rotation was great for a while - the fact that we all (including Taken and BDA) needed to sharpen our swords to get ready for Velious (and the dissolution of class system). The dissolution of the rotation ended up accomplishing many of the same things that the proposals attempted to target - raid capable guilds and raid capable entities doing their thing. Guilds that had to ally on Kunark targets were sure as shit going to have to ally on Velious targets - and they do, and it's been fruitful for them to pair up. The real victims of the dissolution of the rotation and class system were the non-raid capable guilds that failed to ally/team up, and TMO. The non-raid guilds that didn't find partners quickly withered on the vine - if they would have found partners and been realistic with their guild's capabilities, they would still likely be flourishing with the addition of Velious and expanded targets. TMO on the other hand - they were getting brow-beaten by Rampage in Class C. Asgard moved to C and took away some of what TMO was still surviving on. Then BDA, Taken, Gimpatron all started feeding on stuff too...it was almost a total server choke out on TMO.

You guys certainly are sharp - the two recent Trak engages you've nailed with low numbers have been disappointing for BDA, but gutsy and impressive to watch, to be honest.

Seems like Asgard has become some decent competition. I look forward to racing you all over winter break. Good luck, EQbros

asgard salty for days. you guys see so few mobs I'm guessing you now award DKP for bashing big bad BDA in RNF
I've had multiple asgard reps come to me and ask me to join your guild, saying that it's filled with really cool people. You guys do not seem cool.. u seem buttmad. glad I stayed in BDA, #1 public enemy | ||
