History:

The TMO ban happens & Rogean proclaims that a raid agreement must be reached.

TMO, FE, IB propose giving like 4 mobs a month for all the other guilds to share.

Other guilds propose something different

Back and forth occurs

Main contention is TMO, FE, IB want 80% of the mobs. The noncompetition, raid capable guilds (which out number the competition guilds a solid 3 to 1) argue that they should get more like 67% of the total mobs.

Rogean & Nilbog increase the TOTAL number of mobs and eventually the agreement lands with what we have now. Where the competitors can get up to ~67% of the mobs, which is equal to the same number of mobs they had available before the raid talks.

During the whole course the competition guilds bash on Chest because he didn't fold and ignore the fact that most of the other non-competition guilds felt the same way. So, despite the fact that a population of players 2-3 times greater than the competition guilds did not want any of their deals they pin it all on Chest.

It's easier to blame one person for calling you names than it is to admit to yourself that you're the smelly kid in class.

Baalzy, you left out the parts where Unbrella, Sloan, and Doraf rambled on for pages about how awesome competition was, and how people who didn't want to compete shouldn't get pixels. But really I think the class 'c' guilds made out like bandits. They don't actually get 67% of the mobs because of the way the bag limits work and repops limiting them, but they mostly get the mobs they want (VS, CT, Trakanon) and while they do give up a few Talendors (does it matter?) they get 2x as much VP, which clearly makes up for it.
