What happened to the days where rep mattered and the players upheld the rules

It's a bit ironic you're bumping this when you have a Maximilien / Twainz / Eximo etc. I think all guilds could do better on this. I've suggested a Red wide "black list" that all guilds can agree on adding people to.

i respect your opinion

1) You are casting aoe guild invites yourself

2) unfortunately my guild isn't a dictatorship.

3) low population has led to us needing to be very lenient, especially against zerg guilds that are trying to out recruit

4) I think we may have different beliefs on punishments

I believe we should be focusing shaming and re-intergration into server. Its much better off than locking some one up and throwing away the key.

If we cure the root of the problem we keep that +1 pop and it leads to other gains
in pop if their physche has undergone any changes.

It is a cure to the root of the problem, not just a palliative for a quick fix.

1) Yes, I invite a lot of people. That means some bad apples get in. I don't willingly invite people who I know to be bad apples, and when they reveal themselves, I do my best to remove them.

2) It kind of is but I don't want to go there.

3) I understand this, but let's drop the zerg thing. Does Red Dawn have an OVERALL higher number of members, YES. Can we match the response time to repops etc., though that Nihilum has? NO. So yes, we have a higher total #, but a good % of those are genuine newbs uninterested in raiding / low 50's / people who aren't career EQ players who won't respond to a 5am bat phone for a repop. The 70 for gore is an anomaly. That's for an uncontested mob @ primetime hour, which unfortunately is a time that mobs haven't been on in like 10+ Months. @ Trak you had higher #'s. Repops you have higher #'s. And at the end of the day, those are the #'s that matter, not 50+ for uncontested gorenaire or planar clears.

Some people do need the key thrown away. Phone numbers for prostitution and car ads on craigslist? That's a key thrower. You'd be surprised of one or two people on the non nilly side I'm open to throwing the key away on as well, if nilly was willing to do so for a few people on their side.

Lastly, petitions should be be decided who gets the key thrown away. Players should be. Heartbrand doesn't get to decide for the server who he "permits" to be in red dawn.

No I wasn't telling u u were being defensive, but heartbrand is defending his guild and actions like they are the only perspective that matters and the only way to "make the server playable".
