Must be an east of the Rockies thing. When I was in Kansas, I was hauling some lumber in my truck down the highway. I was in the left lane since my left turn was in like a quarter mile, and this guy starts riding my ass. I give him the finger and he goes apeshit. Makes the same turn as me, then speeds up to about 80 mph to pass me on a very narrow country road. Then slams on the brakes and blocks the road sideways with his car. Jumps out with a metal rod of some kind in his hand and starts running towards me. I give a moment of thought to flooring it and crushing him between the vehicles, then think better of it and just pop it in reverse and lose him in a neighborhood. Fucking psychos.

Pretty much chill until you get back into California. A lot of people out west who are still pilgrims in a sense and not enraptured by wall street so much.

Lol yep that's a psycho. And you made the right choice by not crushing him. That's more of a last resort option, for sure.

If the one i apologized to didn't back down at the time I would have done anything to protect my son, including run his ass over. Had to be said.

Person who ran over somebody trying to force their way into his car with his child inside = terrible person, should be in jail.

Person who says she would have run over somebody if they'd tried to force their way into her car with her child inside = A+ Hero.

Righto.

I've never flipped off anyone in a car, but I've been flipped off a few times. Some people just like to raise that middle digit. I just don't understand the need to antagonize people.

NYPD: Biker Arrested, Another Surrenders In Attack On SUV Driver
Wife Of Biker Says SUV Driver Ran Over, Paralyzed Husband

Biker Christopher Cruz, 28, has been charged with reckless endangerment, reckless driving, endangering the welfare of a child and menacing, police said. He was awaiting arraignment on Tuesday.

The second man who turned himself in to police was suspected of punching out the windshield of the Range Rover. He had not been charged as of late Tuesday afternoon.

Police said they were looking to make more arrests as they sort through the chaos, which was all captured on video.

Meanwhile, biker Edwin Mieses, an aspiring rapper from outside Boston, was in a medically-induced coma Tuesday with crushed legs and serious internal injuries as a result of being run over by the SUV.

“There’s no hope for his back. They crushed his spine — broke it in two different places — so he will be forever, forever paralyzed,” said his wife, Dayana Mejia-Meises.

He was hurt in the road rage incident Sunday afternoon as hundreds of stunt bikers led an unauthorized rally.

Mejia-Mieses said her husband got off his bike to help a biker who was hit in the initial collision.

“When all the bikers stopped, my husband got out, parked his bike to walk over to try to help his friend. He walked over towards the front of the vehicle when, at this point, I don’t know what happened the man was scared, the man just peeled off and ran over my husband,” she told WBZ-TV.

Mieses said her husband has injuries to his heart, lungs and ribs and that he is paralyzed from the waist down. The couple has two children, ages 15 and 9.
