So were these duped items? Or did they actually drop?
I'm sure we'll go into more detail tomorrow (too much to type), but essentially, I don't know. I have suspicions of duping activity.

The good news is, I know how to track platlords activities now. As long as I'm active (aka, not busy with work and life), he has nowhere to go.

To my knowledge the Project1999 developers do not posess the software to follow the entire history of an item all the way to the drop date/time. They can follow it to a certain point, but I guess the database must dump the information at some point?

Such software does exist. So it is possible to create and use. But the owners of this software keep it super secret private. If there's some good coders/programmers around here maybe you should give it a whirl. I'm sure the staff would appreciate the effort. They all have jobs. So dealing with all of the RMT shit, patches, DDoS, crybabies, exclusive Tiggles interviews, etc... just leaves them no time at all to develope new software.

That is your opinion and you are entitled to it.

Fuck.
Not to devolve into a he said/she said, but it's actually not opinion. If you cheat, you didn't beat the game (not that this game can be "beaten") - this by definition.

Anyway, RMTing is about real world greed, not game integrity. Personal integrity, sure; but then that's the real underlying subtext to this whole mess.

Tell that to Kirk after he beat the Kobayashi Maru.

He didn't beat it did he? He changed the game. Which is why that was a plot contrivance anyway. Good movie though.

It is a MMO, not monopoly.

I guess I'm just one of those crazy people that enjoyed the interaction with my guild mates and doing things we had never done. Sure, gearing up helped us, but the first time my guild beat Sontalak was one of the best times for me. I played a warrior and I was never the best geared warrior and/or best AAed warrior across servers (although my guildmate Kandraax always was at the top for AAs for warriors), on the server I was on, or even in the guild I was in. But, it was fun.

Is there no way of determining if items are duped..?

We know who he is and when he logs in, but we continue to let him play. We also like to make sense.
