Pretty accurate actually. The role of a Shaman on raids in early EQ is pretty god damn boring. Only need 1 shaman to handle malo/slow and if thats handled all that's really left is FoS/Sta buffing and patch healing. Every guild on the server has more shamans than they need so you end up being bored a lot. I was in the process of leveling a rog and cleric alt near the end of my time on P99. Had a 54 rog and 53 clr that I was going to play when needed cause an extra shaman when you already have 4-5 in raid is nearly useless.
