McCain helped boxing which I support. He sold his presidential candidacy to the religious right which cost him the presidency and set forth the political trail that got Trump elected. I'm guessing he pulled the plug on himself before the midterms because the GOP isn't going to be proposing anything of significance until adter the midterms.
