"Bumping" is posting a reply just to bring the original post back to the top of the thread. You usually see someone post nothing but "bump" or "bump to top" to achieve this goal.

I reckon petition should get answered no matter if you bump or not. Now I do realize this is free server so Im not saying its gotta happen in 1 day, but 2 weeks?

I mean I lost all my toons, that is pretty serious. Should I just bump it every day like a moron? Not every day, lol. Sometimes petitions take a while because Amelinda has to forward the information to Rogean...I don't think anyone else has the capability to restore the characters.

Rogean has been extremely busy lately, so it could take weeks to get it taken care of...it could be done sooner, but always expect the worst.

Sometimes the petition queue can be VERY long...there's only a few people volunteering their time for this...remember, this is not a business.

That being said...keep a good attitude, bump your petition weekly, and maybe roll an alt account to pass the time away.

Dude, you just sound like a horrible whiner.

Yeah, they missed your petition. What are you gonna do, ask to speak to their manager and have them fired? Get over it.

The onus is on *you* to make sure services are completed. I dunno about anyone else, but after 2-3 weeks i would have bumped it and politely mentioned that it hadn't been taken care of - and maybe thanked them for the server in the process. Use common sense - sometimes people miss things, but if you're honest and not a dick about it, they're likely to understand.

Instead, you go around telling your sad story of woe to everyone you see and in the process malign people who are providing a free service. Just stop and let it go.
