I would say the sandboxing depends fully on the configuration you run it in. But you were right, my wine runs in no real sandbox, thanks for the heads-up. The detection of the 3rd party software is not a violation of privacy rights as the server is where the software interacts. I remember when Sony announced they had this ability years ago and people threw a fit, but the point was that many people were using third party software unfairly. One of the things I like about playing on this FREE server is that the devs have established it and advertised it and are making it a level playing field for all players based on the players skill...not unfair third party software.
Basically I'm all for the bans. I know those who want to play PVP on the upcoming red server will be happy as well because of the chronic cheating that occurs on pvp servers.
So enjoy the TS cookie if you were banned. If you're stupid enough to actually think you can sue and win on this issue there are lawyers who are happy to take your money while they represent you. They get paid whether they win or lose.

Good work....seems a bit lenient though. Going from 60 to 54 would suck for someone like me but to the hardcores it's like a 3 week setback.

Should have also lost all keys and god/dragon loot as well as deleveled to 45.

If the 365 accounts had been perma banned, I would come back to play in a heart beat.

Hell I might even do it now. Heres to hoping that people who play on the server are taking the hint that they can't use 3rd party programs.
