Never got sleep paralysis, in fact when I had nightmares as a kid I started to recognize the re-occurring ones and wake myself up

I’d be like “hmm hallway is extra dark. Feels like I’m moving under water. Hearing a disturbing sounding groaning from the next room [my nightmares were usually either zombies, aliens from the aliens series, or supernatural like demon possession shit like from the exorcist movie]”

So then I would be like “fuck this shit I’m out” and begin thrashing around in my dream. Sometimes trying to headbang. Which I would be doing in my sleep. And when my head and or arms banged the wall next to my bed it’d wake me up and I’d be like “not today, demons!” But then sometimes I’d go right back into the same dream if I fell asleep right away and have to do it again

These days I never get nightmares and get dreams so rarely I cherish all of them. I don’t think it’s THC though for me it’s just not getting to REM3 enough
