Why wear a helmet? Why wear a seat belt? Why wear a fire* fighting ensemble?? Why wear a gas mask?? Parachute? Use sterile tools? Why wear body armor?? Why do we even put armor on anything at all?? Why do you take any precaution, at all?

There is no 5% chance of death!!!!! Are you serious dude? Out of 100 people that contract Covid 5 are not going to die. If you take 100 morbidly obese people and infect them with Covid you are going to have an increased mortality, of course. Covid is now being paired with pneumonia and influenza as to prop the numbers. YES the increased lethality of Covid is something to consider for sick people, but please stop spreading the fear to the VAST amount of people with healthy immune systems can stop this virus. Did you know that Covid disproportionately affects people that are obese with over a 100% chance of landing in ICU and 58% chance of mortality. Should I have to wear a mask because people are obese and when they catch covid, BECAUSE THEY ARE OBESE, they will end up in the ICU? I'm not trying to be a dick here, but this is the critical factor, the nation is sick not because of covid but because of our culture. This is the root cause.
