Arcade, a 48 paladin, power-leveled myself and a small group for nearly 2 hours in WC tonight. He also gave me several high end items. Cool dude to talk to as well! Thanks a lot.

Default Thanks

This game has been great! I really have to thank the Druid Hoffa for finding me about 5 minutes after I created Nikon and taking me to Freeport to bind me. He also hooked me up with a starter set of gear which has been awesome!

Thanks also to Zilo for taking the time out of your day to help a newbie get a good sword that will last me for many levels!

Also thanks to Jelatin for remembering to "pay-it-forward" and promoting an excellent game atmosphere for new players!

The only thing I would like to say is that I have run into a few sour-pusses (Miem (sp)?), that sometimes need to remember that newbie's, like me, have instances where someone bound them too close to the FP guards and they get stuck in a death-loop because the guards were trained in a direction that crossed their path when they returned to their bind from a death elsewhere. And when they are posting in /ooc for a little help, insulting them does not promote a healthy and happy server.

I'd say 90% of the people I've met have been happy and willing to contribute worth-while and helpful information and I like to log-on and promote the same kindness that has been shown to me. For others that don't, I was shown very early about the /ignore command. Keep it up, Project 1999!

Id like to thank Blink, the gnome cleric! He went out of his way to res my full group after a bad pull in lguk. Numerous reses for some and even died himself helping pull a corpse. And wouldnt accept a donation. Awesome stand up guy here.

I hate that I can't remember the name, but a Troll SK at the Grobb entrance was handing out fine steel weapons to lowbies like me yesterday. I got a fine steel long sword that cut down my dying by 50%. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

About an hour later, I'm sitting in the middle of the swamp and a dwarf named Finawin gave me a drive-by heal and a piercing weapon that made me even better.

Thanks to both of you. I level slowly enough being a Troll SK who plays casually.

I forget the name, but there was a cleric in Divinity that gave my mage Resolution, an enchanter that gave me Clarity and a Sheer Bone Mask (or was it the cleric? they were both high elves [You must be logged in to view images. Seems a nice bunch of folks, Divinity.
