You just have to go into those servers with a different mind set. This new server is staying in classic with a couple hand picked kunark zones added in, max level 50, with seasons. Basically you go in knowing it will wipe within 6 months and just play to have fun. You should be able to cap within 2 weeks and then it is just PvP for points/gear and sport.

Correction, as of right now item loot will be added in. The restrictions on what can/can't be looted are still up in the air. If you are interested in voicing your opinion on the rulesets for these servers I recommend visiting http://www.eqpvp.com. The forums have been quiet the last couple weeks as most of what we wanted has been voiced, but new input is always welcome.
