2. De-levelling allows players to PVP lowbies in rags while wearing equipment that was intended SOLELY for acquisition by level 60s at the very utmost end game. 3. Red99 is an absolutely MISERABLE fucking experience. I didn't get "griefed off the server." In fact I only died twice in PVP by the time I hit level 52, being that I was playing a Cleric. I quit of my own volition. Again....if Red99 had a consistent population of 1000-2000 players it would POSSIBLY be a viable EverQuest PVP server. EverQuest PVP as I experienced it, back in the years 2000 to 2003, entailed three, four, perhaps even FIVE guilds PVPing over almost every raid encounter. The end-game, raid-guild population on Tallon Zek was greater than your ENTIRE SERVER'S POPULATION.

Thank you all you gave me a chance to do a real TL;DR for everyone out there. I would give each of you credit here for it but this post is too long to go back through to find everyone's name! In closing play the game you like or love. Play it the way you want to and have fun. If you don't want to try something different then don't. But try not to be too close-minded to people trying to offer you a change or asking you to try something new.

On Red (50s Chanter) I mainly farm items to sell, wearing only crap CHA gear. Very rarely see PvP. In the rare instances I do, I might die / zone, then log or logon to a different toon for a bit. Come back to a clean camp and go unbothered the rest of the evening.
On Blue, (60 Torpor Shammy) I find a camp fully popped and proceed to clear it. 10 minutes later a few knuckleheads come in and start lawyer-questing me about how "they were there but had died to some random train caused by pathing issues and that Rule 4 and 6 states that this is still their camp and I should really go read the rules on the website...". So what do I do? Log and play Red. I don't have the time I once had to play. I sure don't have time to type up dispositions of why a camp is mine and cite the legalities that enforce my stance on that particular issue. For folks like me, Red is the only place where we can get on and get a camp immediately to actually accomplish something / make gains without having to hang out on some list for 3+ hours. I get it if some of you Blue players don't want to start over. More power to you. But if you're limited in the time you have to put into the game, but enjoy logging in for short periods of time and wish you could find a camp immediately when you get the chance to play, give Red a look. Most of the Red players on this thread were Bluebies first. We've actually played both servers (unlike the Blue players who are here bashing Red) and are telling you this from experience and because we know you'd enjoy it better. Peace!
