Again......you're required to be level 46 or higher to enter the Temple of Veeshan (and subsequently loot any NO DROP item)

Therefore, the level 31 Rogue with a Claw of Lightning, was clearly deleveled to at least some degree.
Ok, I will explain this step by step for you, so that you will finally understand and shut your whore mouth

1. Delevelling does nothing on P99. Gear is just gear.

END OF EXPLANATION RETARD

END OF EXPLANATION RETARD
1. When de-leveling you do, in fact, retain a higher skillcap on your skills
2. De-levelling allows players to PVP lowbies in rags while wearing equipment that was intended SOLELY for acquisition by level 60s at the very utmost end game.
3. Red99 is an absolutely MISERABLE fucking experience.

I didn't get "griefed off the server." In fact I only died twice in PVP by the time I hit level 52, being that I was playing a Cleric. I quit of my own volition.

Again....if Red99 had a consistent population of 1000-2000 players it would POSSIBLY be a viable EverQuest PVP server.

EverQuest PVP as I experienced it, back in the years 2000 to 2003, entailed three, four, perhaps even FIVE guilds PVPing over almost every raid encounter. The end-game, raid-guild population on Tallon Zek was greater than your ENTIRE SERVER'S POPULATION.

it sounds like you get really angry over video games. take a breather dude. i've only ever seen maybe a small handful of deleveled characters, and that's including mage farm bots that won't ever pvp you. now that epics have a 46 requirement the only active deleveled characters don't even play anymore.

Easier just to quote all of them in 1 post since everyone already TL;DR most of my posts anyway

Awesome. Am I wrong to think elf leaf has best conversion rate? Even tho stacks are worth way less?
I am not familiar with the Elf Leaf sorry but the nice thing about Peridots is they are used by clerics and enchanters for higher level spells. They can be broken down to around 9-10pp each and so you carry almost 200pp a stack can also be used for donations for ports and other things. Once you start raiding or doing higher level grouping you will always have a use for Peridots.

My final verdict/testing after much research and hands on interaction with the community.

Both servers suck, but red sucks way worse. There are limited options for entertainment on red. And unless you enjoy witty retarded /ooc banter and killing other players at a disadvantage. Red lacks, the more mature and in depth gameplay that blue offers. Like petitioning peoples names and claiming camps.

I feel like anyone considering red should consider if they want to play an MMO or a an online orgy of aspergers.
A game is what you make it only limited by your imagination. Also you can always minimize /ooc if you need help figuring it out just ask someone in tells instead of ooc. Chances are the people who do so don't read ooc anyway.

Fucking nonsense.

Sunday night there were 13 people in Mistmoore. ELEVEN OF THE THIRTEEN had Fungis and best in slot droppable. One guy was level 31, clearly deleveled. He was wielding a Claw of Lightning and pking the two people in the zone without Fungis.

You guys just want more ungeared lowbies to grief. I played pvp during live classic. If Red99 had roughly a 1500+ population it MIGHT be a viable pvp server.
I call shenanigans please post a SS of said claw of lightning and all the fungi. I am level 55+ on 2 characters and have never had the pleasure of a Fungi touching my scales/skin. Also I have leveled several alts and rarely see pvp at lower levels by twinked griefers it is more likely to see just normal pvp.

There's no point in giving serious responses. The join red spam will continue anyways. Better off saving yourself the energy and just nodding your head or giving a thumbs up instead.
No honestly your opinion matters please post it. People will agree or disagree and yes it may start debates or arguments but that is what happens in a community.

I've seen pvp twinks that login, kill people, force LNS and then repeat this process every hour, perpetually clearing zones of all levelling groups.

I have a feeling these unertwink characters are shared account that many people are playing.

And no, you cannot simply "goto a different zone" as their level 60 druid buddy will port them around.

Let's be honest here, and its been like this since VZTZ:

If you're part of "the crew" you'll get BIS twink geared and PLed to 60 as soon as u join Red. Hell 90% of the people promoting Red came from Blue and traded for hundreds of thousands of Red plat. You've NEVER PLAYED RED UNTWINKED yet that's what you're encouraging others to do.

EverQuest PVP is roughly 10% skill, 20% game knowledge and 70% GEAR BASED. ESPECIALLY in Velious. Have fun PVPING Warriors and Monks with 4k and 180+ all resists unbuffed, lol.

What a joke.
I am playing red untwinked right now. Btw if you have no one giving you even beginner gear to help you out then maybe its time to make some friends. Oh and WTH is this "the crew" you speak of I need to meat them.

Exactly.

Actually this thread, check that, this forum is a pretty good example of the puerile nonsensical bullshit that jackass junior high spews globally 24/7 on red /ooc. Except there the idiots have a captive audience. I guess the red players should be thankful though that there is no way to transmit dumb ass jpegs and gifs.

And yes just last night (or was it night before) there were low level twinks that closed down faydwer and steamfont. Wouldn't surprise me if it happens regularly. As far as forum posts making fun of red server, really all I'm seeing is players calling bullshit on the "red is better than blue" spam threads.
I don't buy it last night I was in Steamfront on a new toon leveling and The only thing I can say watch for is the Mage boxes that are poping up there. But even they were untwinked in beginner gear. Beyond that the worst thing about those 2 zones was there weren't enough people in zone to group with consistently to level.

And it's only just starting. In a few months time, since they gave epic weapons a required level, you'll soon start seeing fully NTOV-geared, deleveled, level 30 PVP twinks as commonplace.

We're talking level 30s with 3k unbuffed HP, max all melee stats, 175+ all resists, and dual wielding weapons like Claw of Lightning (14/18 41% haste).

If you don't believe me, that's fine. But again, I played on Tallon Zek during live, and this is precisely what happened. Hell THIS item here became the "gold standard" for deleveled PK twinks on Tallon Zek:

http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=20572
You spew the same crap over and over in this thread and haven't provided 1 ounce of proof that it happened. I cannot see Empire giving that weapon to toons that delevel to 30 yet. Not saying it isn't possible would just like to see the proof in the pudding in your posts.

I have to agree with you there. Spyder I liked WuTang Clan too when I was like 12. I think you would make a very poor representation of them with your whining about the surname on the forums. Swish makes me laugh with his gifs I would much rather see them than see your 15th+ post complaining about your surname.

Thank you all you gave me a chance to do a real TL;DR for everyone out there. I would give each of you credit here for it but this post is too long to go back through to find everyone's name!

In closing play the game you like or love. Play it the way you want to and have fun. If you don't want to try something different then don't. But try not to be too close-minded to people trying to offer you a change or asking you to try something new.

On Red (50s Chanter) I mainly farm items to sell, wearing only crap CHA gear. Very rarely see PvP. In the rare instances I do, I might die / zone, then log or logon to a different toon for a bit. Come back to a clean camp and go unbothered the rest of the evening.

On Blue, (60 Torpor Shammy) I find a camp fully popped and proceed to clear it. 10 minutes later a few knuckleheads come in and start lawyer-questing me about how "they were there but had died to some random train caused by pathing issues and that Rule 4 and 6 states that this is still their camp and I should really go read the rules on the website...". So what do I do? Log and play Red.

I don't have the time I once had to play. I sure don't have time to type up dispositions of why a camp is mine and cite the legalities that enforce my stance on that particular issue. For folks like me, Red is the only place where we can get on and get a camp immediately to actually accomplish something / make gains without having to hang out on some list for 3+ hours.

I get it if some of you Blue players don't want to start over. More power to you. But if you're limited in the time you have to put into the game, but enjoy logging in for short periods of time and wish you could find a camp immediately when you get the chance to play, give Red a look. Most of the Red players on this thread were Bluebies first. We've actually played both servers (unlike the Blue players who are here bashing Red) and are telling you this from experience and because we know you'd enjoy it better.

Peace!
