everything must begin somewhere. if there is a higher power, it probably would not operate in terms of what you trolls call "intelligence". the problem with religion is that man has likened this "god" to resemble himself, but if we were to come in contact with our "creator" it most likely would not even exist on the same plane that we can perceive. type "god" into google and you will get many images of white men. what does this tell you?

next google "the spanish inquisition"

Theres really only 2 possible theories on gods.
1. People create deities out of what they see but don't understand.
or
2. People create deities in their mind to explain what they don't understand
Either one would explain pretty much everything to some extent.
Lets just remember we dont have any true images of "god" or even Jesus (the image we know today was from a man who basically sold his sons image to the church, early 1600's i think?)
And one important other thing to remember in this world...There are no myths, only exaggerations.

humans cant even agree on what dreams, gravity, or energy are. meanwhile deforestation exists, yet we require oxygen and eat plants. species' (which christianity states we are the wardens of) have been copywritten to the brink of extinction and pollution is on the rise. this entitlement and concept of ownership (both which i believe stem from religion) disgust me.

if there is god, and god is all things, this earth is part of god. humanity is a plague, basing "progress" on unproven theories. it must be very satisfying to think that some sky-creature created all of this for you to binge netflix and murder animals. i, personally, have some other ideas.

or 3. 'God' is "pre-programmed" into our DNA by our creator. Free will was given as to believe or not believe. Society is what provides all with what they believe or not believe. If you were the only person on Earth. Free of all the shit we are succumbed to on a daily basis (ie: media), I'm sure you would question. Why am I here? Who put me here? However, that question is absolutely impossible to answer because everyone, and I mean everyone, even off the grid 3rd world tribes, is brought up in some sort of social society where the pressures of the free will are imposed upon them on a daily basis. Is human religion correct? That's for one to decide on their own, but creationism... I cant disagree with. Something created everything.
