Seems both extreme ends of the spectrum are being represented here for the sake of argument, of course.

Here is how marijuana benefits me:
1. It regulates my body temperature. I live just outside Austin and I'm prone to sweating more than most people. If I take one pull off the pipe, I stop sweating for hours.

2. I'm prone to car/plane/etc sickness. A couple tokes and I'm right as rain. It instantly cures my nausea.

3. Stress relief.

That being said, Marijuana (especially the sticky icky) causes cognitive impairment. I always weigh the pros and cons before I smoke.

Everyone's life is a different story. Everyone has different reactions/tolerances to drugs. It's not always about getting high man. Hence my post early on here: stop taking it yourselves so seriously. Most of the posts in here are self-projection seen through the lens of the usual human who has "figured it all out."

You're sweating less because your body temperature is not properly regulated when you're high. Learn to pharmacology.

I have Hyperhydrosis, dude. My body over-regulates my body temperature.

I agree with you that it's "dampening" my body's temperature regulation process.

That being said, I think I was clear in my communication.
It adjusts the way my body reacts to heat, thereby improving my comfort level.

In '87, Huey released this, "Fore," their most accomplished album. I think their undisputed masterpiece is "Hip to be Square", a song so catchy, most people probably don't listen to the lyrics. But they should, because it's not just about the pleasures of conformity, and the importance of trends, it's also a personal statement about the band itself.
