Classic has and always will be the ultimate direction this server takes, sometimes it gets there slower for some things than others but it'll get there eventually. The server is free yo, if you don't like certain things you only have yourself to blame. You knew the M.O. before you even signed up.

I started playing in June 99 after my friend and I finally got our PCs upgraded enough to install EQ. I'm a young blood!

I find it outstanding that the devs try and create a classic as possible server. I also find it asinine that people on this server really don't approve of quality of life adjustments on a server that is clearly not classic and will never be, not just because there is no way to replicate it fully 100%, but because things have already been changed from classic standpoints or other things blatantly won't be changed to classic.

Like someone else previously mentioned, it isn't some devastating change, and people will adjust, but the thought that this toxic community really spams "not classic" with the implication that this server will ever be what they had in 1999 shows how ignorant most of you really are.

Facts are facts. There is no intention to slap anyone in the face. Just pointing out the obvious. Like I mentioned in previous post and will mention again, it really is outstanding for the development team to create a server that is as close to that era as possible, but for the community to come a guns a blazing firing off "not classic" rounds at everything is asinine.
