If the ultimate goal is to kill a mob and get some phat lewts, it shouldn't matter what strategy is used. As long as rules aren't broken, than the objective was obtained.

I've been in raids where we literally had 6 players left standing and finished the mob. Was it pretty? Nope it was a super sloppy finish, and other people have done a better job at it but the mob still died.

If you'd ever fought the mob, you'd realize you need a lot more than the number of pet classes we had to "chain pet" that mob down. Sadly, you'll continue to live in ignorance.
