i have a bunch of D&D minis i was given that are on a shelf out of the way so maybe they heard me .. i have a A's bobblehead whose name i don't recognize .. a jar of Lil Homies mini toys i collected when they were still obtainable .. and honestly that's it .. mostly books and projects around here.

I'm a pretty big sperglord when it comes to pokemon I'll admit

but the only anime I watch is that Studio Ghibli shit.

We have anime people come into my shop all the time when i'm playing board games or running Pokemon league and they are the smelliest most annoying fucking kids you can imagine and most of them are 25+ years old.

No, we don't sell manga or shitty jap snacks and no we won't buy any of these shitty yugioh/magic cards you are trying to sell me.

Back in '99 the local game shop at the mall hosted a Pokemon CCG tournament every Friday night. $7 entry fee, and all the entries were pooled into a store-credit certificate for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. There'd be like 40+ little kids that just wanted to play cards, so Elethia and I would beat the hell out of them and walk out with a bunch of magic and D&D stuff we just bought with the 1st and 2nd place store credit prizes.

It was awesome.

kid i worked with a few years ago was into magic, hed go in and sit for literally hours waiting for anyone to come in to play(while I stared at the floor trying not to kill myself).

Thankfully that sort of shit is not popular around here. I think there is 2 shops in the "big" city that host weekly tournaments, which are basically the same 6 guys circle jerking over their miniatures.
