they do because the pvp resist code doesn't account for levels it only takes into account your resist, and you can't ever fully resist a non MR stun based nuke, so a 44 wizard in sol b casting conflag on a 60 VP gear has the same chance @ landing as a level 60 wizard casting it.

A full conflag? No. But LEVEL plays no role in the resist system, so the level 44 casting it has the exact same chance @ however much dmg it deals as the level 60.

I'm lvl 60 Wiz and I don't even land full DDs normally in mass pvp, do you guys activate that sort of like the invincibility but still in game if you plug at the right time thing?

Ok so if e lands on conflagration on u that miraculously isn't resisted 100%, how big is the partial to your 300FR and 4k HP? 100 damage? Shit if we had 20 lvl 44 wizards nuke you we could get u to 50% instantly.

To bad this only can happen in a few zones where said level 44 can get roflstomped by 60 melee....

I think we're debating like two dif points. My only point was level is not a factor in a spell's chance to land or not, only the resist # is, and it's IMPOSSIBLE to ever 100% resist a non MR stun based nuke PVP on red99. As far as gear differences and the HP difference via levels ya not disputing that's an advantage broski.

I could've sworn I resisted(like got the message you have resisted xxx) draught or something during pvp once, I had like 250 fr/cr . I didn't take a SS though so didnt happen. Need to run 24/7 Fraps for that shit.

Unless I'm wrong or it's like a .000001% chance, I've never since day 1 of server gotten a you resist xxx to a non MR based stun component spell.
