apparently you were not here the first couple months on P99. We had some problems but everything gets corrected in time. Enjoy it for what it is worth and look past a couple cracked staffs. They are working on everything and so far it isnt to shabby. Although I do agree all these things need to get changed asap

Tried playing there this morning.

Experience rate was somewhat close to accurate after they bumped it up a couple hours after they launched it. Patched again a couple hours ago and it is now almost unbearable at Level 6.

If they cannot get the Experience right or even acknowledge that there is a problem, it gives me little to no faith in anything else getting fixed.

Other problems I encountered up to level 6:

Flee Rate
Post Luclin NPCs in game
Post Luclin Quests in game and working
Post Luclin NPCs having post Luclin loot
Some GUI stuff still enabled
Forums difficult to navigate through
Global OOC enabled (This is never used for it was meant to be for)

Overall just not a great experience.

Plenty of trolls there though if you are into that sort of thing.

Doubt I will try again, rather just wait for Velious here. I'm pretty confident Nilbog and others will do a fantastic job just as with Kunark.

I have less than 2 hours played and I just hit level 4

Give it a week... see how many are still playing and divide the population by 2. Probably an accurate assessment. Way more in faith in Rogean/Nilbog to do the business here, and I'd venture to say that a Velious release here might just kill that server off.

The only real thing its got going for it is the server is new. Definitely poorly managed, I hate to think how bad it was in the beta and as someone rightly said that Kegz hasn't fixed a bunch of fundamental things that need fixing.

i dont think any server can be more poorly managed than the first year of red99. sirken the only thing keeping the server together atm.

These guys really don't know nearly enough about EQ for this server to be successful. I predict it'll be dead in a months time
