Capital police are investigating this incident because it is a clear violation of his 4th amendment rights against illegal search and seizures

Police are not allowed to just enter someone’s home and take a bunch of pictures just because their door happened to be open. They can only enter for a welfare check of someone’s safety, and then only to perform that function. In this incident they could try to argue that they had suspicion that a crime occurred that they were trying to document by taking pictures

I personally would sue them in court. Because they would not be able to prove to jury that the reasonable explanation for a door being open is that a robbery just occurred versus the person just accidentally left the door open. For suspicion of something like a robbery there would need to be more evidence such as damage to the door, belongings strewn about in the room, etc

He should sue, based on what I learned about police procedures from the ATA channel, he would likely win the case

A Republican lawmaker Elijah Benhke was caught on video recently saying that he is encouraging Republicans to "cheat like the Democrats do" and "bend the rules" to win elections in the future.

One question though. Is his office owned by him or the state? If its public owned, accessible to the public, like most government buildings are, its not really his to say then.

No, it was "fact checked" which, as usual, means some biased group of partisan hacks didn't like it and found some technicality why it's "mostly untrue!".

See, it's also doing a bunch of other things, it's not ONLY handing out crack pipes. And the goal isn't for racial equity PRIMARILY, it's to "prevent infection" (what?), but racial equity is still a background concern. This is literally what they said about it themselves.

So yeah, I guess it's "mostly untrue"!
