So we hunt in a plane when a mob is late in window and its socking, you park fully buffed characters at a zone and sit at your keyboard one click away waiting for the word. They're both types of socking. Get over yourself.

I don't remember. It was either the one where draco spawned and we killed him, then CT immediately spawned afterwords and things went to shit OR it was the one where we cleared the zone and draco spawned after midnight when most of our force was asleep.

OK I want you to take a second and put yourself in my shoes. You like to push the limits of the enchanter class and today you got up early to do fearplane when usually no one else is around. You have never soloed fear before and are making all sorts of mistakes and generally having a rough time, but after 3 hours you finally have cleared 10-15 of the roamers and things are looking up. You have a rough fight with 8 fear mobs and have to cap, and when you get back some BDA want to poopsock fear. You point out (rather clumsily admittedly, give me a break I was tired. charm soloing is exhausting) that you have been working on this for a while. The raid leader says 'sucks to be you' and then follows it up with a gratuitous insult. Having had this interaction do you think a) Wow, what a great bunch of dudes or b) These guys are assholes who don't give two shits about anyone but themselves ?

If you weren't determined to be a douche, our conversation could have gone something like this:

Loraen: I'm claiming this plane [fuck you I'm fixing my spelling errors!]
Loraen: breaking it gradually
Moderately Douchey Chest: Whoa buddy, you can't claim the entire plane. I have a raid here
Loraen: But I've been here for three hours. Almost have it broken.
Moderately Douchey Chest: Do you expect us to just sit out here on our thumbs so you can do your solo artist challenge, you OP chanter you?
Loraen: Well can you give me 10-20 more minutes? I'm almost done, then I'll head off east to kill a golem. I'll let you know if anything drops
Moderately Douchey Chest: Alright, we need to clear towards Draco to the North/West anyway first. But then we're gonna clear the rest.
Loraen zones into fear, mildly irritated

Or it could have gone something like this:

Loraen: I'm claiming this plane
Loraen: breaking it gradually
Solo Artist Challenge Fan Chest: Oh, is that the solo artist challenge thing you do?
Loraen: yeah, break fear and clear a golem solo. Not really going that well though.
Solo Artist Challenge Fan Chest: Maybe you should take the day off!
Loraen: Never!
Solo Artist Challenge Fan Chest: I need to bring in my zerg to poopsock Draco. I wish we could do stuff with low numbers like you!
Loraen: Well, I suppose I've done enough breaking solo to qualify. I'll head off east and try and kill a golem
Solo Artist Challenge Fan Chest: Sure, let us know if anything drops
Loraen: roger

Or maybe something like this:

Loraen: I'm claiming this plane
Loraen: breaking it gradually
Nice Chest: Well we have a raid force here to sock Draco, I don't want to just go home. Any way we can work together? Fear is a big zone.
Loraen: I'm like Batman, I prefer to work alone. But if you give me 10-15 minutes you can head off towards Draco and I'll head SE towards Dread
Nice Chest: It'll take us that long to get the rest of our people here anyway. I fully expect to rez your dead corpse when we zone in though! Quantity has a quality all its own.

I had way too much fun writing those conversations. But my point is if you had even TRIED to negotiate with me in any way you would have found that we could both get what we wanted. I'm pretty reasonable when I'm given a chance. I am really puzzled that you think posting that log did not make you look like a tool.
