i was a little disappointed. nite of trollng people in RL started out good. ran into some whores in AK with a rebel flag in the background saluting me like im hitler. then they started drawing swastikas all over the chat box. probably the funniest shit was getting guys who looked like they were about to masturbate and call them out for it.

resists are fine. are they a bit different than live? yes. this system allows all classes to be viable in pvp. on live during classic any MR based classes were useless in solo pvp. with this system a cleric can do more than stand there healing himself.

love it or hate it, the resists on R99 are not even close to the biggest problem on the server. people need to learn to adapt and utilize these changes for their benefit instead of dragging their feet in the mud and using it as an excuse for being bad.

after velious and YT, id be willing to start have a dialog about resists. but not before. priorities and all.

i always wondered why i would find arzak corpses in felwithe, seeing as hes a high elf paladin i fought it odd. perhaps sirken could sleuth this zonefile exploitation going on.

I'd say having to rely on root spam and zerging is being bad.

But that's just my (and apparently the original EQ developers') opinion.

In the meantime Samwise, stop being bad at EQ and learn to adapt to mage pets that 100% root you at 200MR.

I agree with you on Velious/YT on the top of the list.

But unfortunately resist fixes for the longest time were prioritzed under smelling your fingers.

i dont play, so maybe i'm completely off base in my assumptions here. but why cant you just pumice mage pet root off?

manage your buffs so root lands at the top, and pumice it.
