I still play. Though it is rare.
I'm thinking about giving it up.
I voted for multiple options. Dwindling population. Have to play a class that can solo. Gotten some major grief a couple times. Long grind. No real way to find a group (no global OOC). No safe/dedicated auction zone. I know it's PvP, but it seems almost impossible to buy items. 4 out of 4 times I've gotten killed into someone saying they are going to sell me an item, and then getting jumped when there to buy it.

Population going down obviously played a big role for everyone.

But I mainly lost interest due to lack of competition and no challenge whatsoever. There was maybe 1 decent player out of every 100 so PVPin wasn't exactly enjoyable. Holocaust promised to destroy and rape me along with half the server, they also promised they would be first to 50 and would camp me all day everyday. Knowing that I figured I could find some fun (aka challenge) on this EMU but sadly none of that happened. Instead they all sucked donkey cock beside maybe their main Enchanter dude whatever name he had. He was the only one who seemed decent in that guild, sadly he didn't play enough along with most of their members so the threat never existed.

Also lack of content played a big role. It just took 2-4 weeks to get max level and every single item/potion/clicky that existed and after that it got kinda boring with no planes or anything. I guess that's life in every MMO, but on a EMU with a population of 200-500 it just isn't enough to keep playing.

Global OOC, Kills and maybe a LeaderBoard could have kept it more interesting also. But the server lacked all of the key features that a low population server need to stay alive.

I think I'd even play again on a new server with a leaderboard, global ooc for chat and kills along with the race PVP Sullon Zek had cuz I never really tried that. Could be fun for a while [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

All the balance shit and stuff like that doesn't really matter to me and that's what had all the focus on this server. I couldn't give a shit if class XX sucks, or if melee sucks or if casters sucks or if roots last 10 years or always get resisted. None of that really matters to me. I know ill rape everyone either way with any class. I just want some fun features where pwning counts.

yellow text and diety based pvp (sullon zek) would have been awesome as shit. also on sullon there is no level range which kept people from OOR training/healing. Also trains were legal so Gms got to sit back and watch the fun. find me dis and I would probably try eq classic one more time.
