Dkp systems are really hard to manage, i put up with that shit for 2 years in vanilla wow. Loot council overall did a good job. Near the end it got messy cause everyone knew it was comin to an end, no avoiding that.

Tbh the real reason empire burned out was because we had no competition and no fights. If there was an actual contesting guild it would have been much more fun for those first 8 months of velly.

This server has a revolving door of 100 raiders with 10 people that fight over leading the 100 raiders. It doesn't matter what the guild tag is there will never be long term competition here.

Empire was a year ago boys; everyone who's played on this server in the past 2 years has a velious geared toon, some more than others.

Everyone knew what they were signing up for with <empire> and that there would be some shady shit here and there, everyone knew the nilly boys were gunna over run <apex> eventually and turn it in to Nilly 2.0 w/ non decay dkp 10,000 DKP lists that benefit the guys that raid 24/7 and the only way to compete is to raid non-stop.

it's as simple as that.

those pixels ain't gunna make you happy; it's the fun you have along the way and friends you make that you carry to the next game/guild/etc that's the true value.

DKP can never take into account someone's entire contribution to the effort (or lack thereof).

I've always preferred guilds with loot councils that make an attempt to refer to objective numbers to make their subjective decisions. That said, If your an autist with a cringe worthy personality then I can understand why you would prefer pure DKP.

From what I gather, its basically empire, split into two guilds now, just butt raping each other at boss spawns for endless hours into the night. Claiming victory on a 100 man server.
