Still can't believe you found arrows/javs first and took that glory from me, lol. That was a blast.

And I can just clear up that I don't hate you, which is kinda a strong word for it, for anything besides killing the TMO tag. Still salty about that, but you're ultimately the leader of our Legacy guild. I want you guys to do better. Please start kicking Taken's ass for me.

Detoxx didn't kill TMO tag because it was already dead since Zeelot left

Wrong. Competition (was) very invigorating. Also, having played a wizard here since 2009. Loot wasn't a reason for me to raid... There was like 3 items for a wizard pre-VP and maybe 4 or so in VP. I went years without loot and my DKP can attest to that. I enjoyed initially the challenge of being the underdog and competing against, winning against, and then supplanting a initially stronger force. After I had other goals like helping friends etc. End the end I just like playing with pals and killing dragons. Loot didn't make EQ great... community did.
To me it seems pretty obvious that you confused why people join raid guilds for why people stay in raid guilds in this post. If you want to pretend to other people here that you had the distinction in mind all along -- that's cool. But I think we both no what went down.

People join raid guilds for kills in the same sense that they play Everquest for kills. That's what the game is mostly. After the third time or so -- that's not a good reason to stick around.

Reflecting on this, I think my first post without including the part about kills is actually less misleading.

10/10 people join for loot. It only takes one person to prove you wrong. I did so easily. You then tried to backtrack your statement. It's ok kiddo. Better luck next time

I don't mean litterally 100%... I mean if you take 10 guys that joined a raid guild -- chances are all 10 guys are there for loot. "A hundred times out of a hundred the judge will do.." is the kind of statement you hear in law a lot. It gives people a less misleading impression than "99% of the time" because there probably isn't 1% of raiders that joined a raid guild for a reason other than loot.

You don't mean what you say. I realize this. Keep backpedaling though, it's amusing.
