i have no idea why people are so passionate about classic wow, it honestly sucked ass, you couldn't take over any cities as they originally promised, pvp was useless you always spawned 10 meters away in whatever graveyard with zero penalties, instanced pve which made pve non competitive why would anyone go back to that

i'd be interested in wow if they removed 90% of the grave yards only allow spawning close to the big cities and remove the pve instances, make them open so you have to fight for the content

Well said and there is tons of world pvp. Trust me Smedy I come from a game where dying matters aka Meridian 59. It's a game you'd like but why does pvp penalties care? Red99 no longer has them and you still had fun. Also classic world of warcraft has 7 world bosses you can pvp for.

I think it is actually the lack of rewards more so than the potential loss. In the end it is just a different side of the same equation - the reward is rarely if ever worth the risk in EQ PVP so you're left with a handful of people doing it just for fun.
